Demersurile făcute de Guvern privind includerea României în Programul Visa Waiver au înregistrat un succes ''ireversibil'' pentru cetățenii români, a declarat, vineri, premierul Marcel Ciolacu, care a făcut un apel ''la cei care urlă de pe garduri'' să se abțină ''să mai speculeze politic'' o chestiune care ține ''de o întârziere temporară legată de implementarea unor chestiuni tehnice''.

România a îndeplinit toate condițiile tehnice și politice. Nu există niciun fel de dubiu. De aceea, fac un apel la cei care urlă de pe garduri și care n-au făcut nimic în viața lor pentru țara asta să se abțină să mai speculeze politic o chestiune care ține de o întârziere temporară legată de implementarea unor chestiuni tehnice'', a scris Ciolacu, pe Facebook.
El a adăugat că România a intrat în spațiul Schengen și în Programul Visa Waiver cu ''mari eforturi''.
''Înțeleg că suntem în campania electorală, dar nu vă jucați cu interesele României! Am intrat în Schengen și acum în programul Visa Waiver cu mari eforturi, nu avem nevoie de tot felul de bufoni care să strice totul acum. Folosirea acestei teme din interese meschine, strict electorale, face rău atât României, cât și cetățenilor români'', a menționat prim-ministrul.
